Join the Newport Tree Conservancy as we tour the breathtaking gardens of Bellevue House Arboretum!
Enjoy this landscape full of delightful garden art, a traditional Japanese stroll and pond garden, and a moss garden thriving under a natural shelter created by an immense fernleaf beech. Bellevue House features a massive horsechestnut that predates the house built in 1910 and is suspected to be one of the oldest and largest on Aquidneck Island. Other specimen trees include a magnificent Scots pine, pollarded lindens, massive English yews, Turkish oak, and an assortment of fruit trees.
