Come out for a stroll with the Newport Tree Conservancy on our first monthly tree walk of 2024!

We’ll explore beautiful, historic Catherine Street on the eastern side of Rhode Island Ave, as well as some of Gibbs Ave. We will encounter and discuss many beautiful specimen trees, including a variety of conifers, a plethora of holly types, early spring flowering trees and shrubs, Japanese maples, and beech trees. We will talk in detail about the use of conifers and hollies in the home landscape, as well as identification of deciduous tree species. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Registration is required.
