The summer of Arboreta continues with another outstanding opportunity to tour a private garden! Tag along with NTC Living Collections Manager Joe Verstandig for a tree tour of a beautiful seaside arboretum.

Stonybrook is an early 20th century Gothic Revival manor house, with 4.8 acres of gorgeous collections with the Sakonnet river passage as the backdrop, diverged by a small creek from which the property earns its name. Plant highlights include an extensive beech collection, a host of conifers, mature oaks, and plants capable of thriving in the harsh maritime climate. Cultivation notes, identification tips, and interesting and unusual facts pertaining to collection will be discussed. Please dress to walk around. Water is highly encouraged.
